AIR2-Fish – Dehumidification in fish farm

  • Dehumidification of growing areas
  • Improved working climate and sight
  • Lower energy usage

In the autumn of 2017 ITB has supplied three heat exchangers at the fish farm Kingfish Zeeland. The three air/air heat exchanger with 14 PVC tube modules each have a capacity of 21.000 m3/h. With the heat exchanger the growing areas where the yellowtail fish is grown, is dehumidified.

The working climate and vision in the room improve through this decrease in humidity. The intake air is pre-heated, thereby reducing the use and costs of energy. Suction of exhaust air occurs through a PE tube system. Intake air is distributed equally through perforated foiltubes. The AIR2-Fish is produced completely from polypropylene and PVC parts. A long lifespan of the heat exchangers is guaranteed. Since both the intake and exhaust air is clean, additional cleaning of the system is not needed.
