In October 2017 Boon Agrosystems from Barneveld (The Netherlands) has equipped the barn with 12.000 bio-layers from VOF Van den Top from Lunteren (The Netherlands) with two innovative ventilation systems from ITB.
For air intake, the Climamix air distribution system is applied. For Climamix units ensure optimal air distribution throughout the barn. Recirculation is enabled by automated dampers.
To meet the BWL-certification for finedust emission, four OctaFil units are placed. With the system the required 40% reduction in finedust emission is met. At the exhaust side too, recirculation is possible. An optimal airspeed is maintained and higher reduction of finedust can be achieved.
